CrossFit Testimonial – Sam
The progress I’ve made since I started CrossFit in 2014 is more than I could’ve done on my own. I’m physically stronger than I’ve ever been. I’ve always been active in sports since I was a kid, but not involved much with strength training other than when my track coach scheduled strength days in the weight room. I decided to get more involved in strength training in 2014 but I didn’t want to do it alone. I’d heard about CrossFit and decided to give it a try. I put my regular gym membership on hold for 6 months and found the closest CrossFit to my house which was CrossFit Brier Creek. I knew from the moment I stepped into CFBC that it was going to be a good fit for me: The coaches were ready to work and help me with proper technique and form, and it wasn’t just about strength but also cardiovascular conditioning. It was important to me to be able to get both from the programming. I was hooked after 3 months.
CFBC is not just any CrossFit gym. Since joining, I’ve visited other boxes when I travel and there is none like CFBC. At CFBC, you’re greeted by smiling faces. Even if someone doesn’t know you, someone makes you feel welcome. Most of the CrossFit gyms I’ve visited haven’t really made me feel as welcomed, but CFBC laid the foundation for me to get in a good workout no matter what box I walked into while I was traveling. I can sense the genuine atmosphere to motivate others when I’m at CFBC, and I haven’t felt that when I’ve dropped in at other gyms. I’ve also been able to form true friendships and even networking opportunities within the CFBC community. CFBC is a real community of fitness, fun, family and friendship.
