Our Foundations class provides a full introduction to CrossFit principles, the ten general physical skills, the nine fundamental movements of CrossFit, as well as other movements you will see in Workouts of the Day (WODs).
Foundations is three 60 minute classes. We will focus mainly on your form, technique, and individual motions with a gradual increase in intensity as the classes progress. Each session involves an instruction component followed by a workout incorporating and reinforcing what you have learned that day. We honor consistency before intensity to help our athletes stay safe and achieve the best results possible especially while learning new things!
Our Foundations class is the best way to begin your road to fitness with CrossFit. Contrary to popular belief you do not need to be in shape to start CrossFit! CrossFit Workout of the Day (WOD)
CrossFit WODs are our standard workouts, changing daily to ensure you achieve a fitness that is well-rounded and non-specialized. This means whether you come at 06:00 AM or 06:30 PM you will be doing the same workout as your friends in other class times.
We offer WODs Monday through Saturday at a variety of times throughout the day to fit even the busiest of schedules. Discover more about the CrossFit philosophy and process on our What is CrossFit? page.
During Open Gym times we open our facility to any CrossFit Brier Creek members who are seeking to supplement their regular WODs.
Open Gym is the perfect time to work on your form and technique, pursue your own WOD, or perform a WOD that you missed from earlier in the week.
