Building a Strong CrossFit Foundation
To get started with us, you will need to enroll in CrossFit Brier Creek Foundations which is three 60-minute classes designed to prepare you for joining our regular CrossFit classes. In Foundations you will be instructed on CrossFit principles, the ten general physical skills, the nine fundamental movements of CrossFit, as well as other movements you will see in Workouts of the Day (WODs).
Our main focus in the beginning will be on form, technique, and improving each athlete’s movements. As the classes progress, there will be a gradual increase in intensity. Each session includes instruction and a workout that will incorporate what you have learned that day to reinforce movement patterns. Throughout Foundations and even after you graduate, you will notice that we subscribe to “consistency before intensity” meaning we want you to move well before you go all-out. This enables our athletes to remain safe while still reaping the benefits of CrossFit.
After graduating Foundations, you will be able to attend our regularly scheduled CrossFit classes. We are 100% committed to seeing you succeed, so we ask that you dedicate at least three months to see the results of your hard work.
