No Weights Today
No barbells or weights today. Just move your body! Many times people will discount the body weight wod. It is important that we can perform these wods just like a workout with Olympic lifts or heavy weights. We truly believe in the constantly varied aspect of CrossFit. For overall fitness you must train with all types of movements and time domains. Most importantly, if you aren’t good at particular movements those are the ones that you need to be doing. I have to constantly push myself to try heavier weights. I don’t like them, but it is the only way for me to get stronger and improve. There are others out there that are brutally strong but shy away from the bodyweight or light and fast wods. The good thing for you guys is that in any given week at CFBC you will see constantly varied movements, weights and time durations. This is not randomly generated, but carefully planned out by your coaches, to make all of you elite athletes. Keep showing up and we will keep pushing you to be your best!
