As I sit to write this post, I don’t know how to start thanking everyone. The Throwdown in The Triangle was amazing…but what was more impressive was the support of our athletes and friends. The volunteers(judges and staff) worked their asses off and made the event happen. There is absolutely no way we could have pulled it off without you. You guys know who you are. I am completely humbled by the individuals that WORKED for a day and for many two days to help the box and their friends. I believe that CrossFit is bringing back the time when the community rallied around their friends. If someone had a barn to build you showed up and helped build it. If you were sick someone mowed your grass. If you couldn’t lift your barbell someone took weight off. There are many that will say that altruism and sense of community are gone but we have proven this wrong. Our thanks go out to all and your help and support will not be forgotten. If you need help with that barn let us know!
Today we back squat for sets of 5. We talked about set up and execution of the back squat last week and will again be doing this before each class. After the squats we will be turning one of the Throwdown’s wod into a chipper. Get it done!
