The kettlebell swing is an awesome conditioning tool!  Anything that the Russians have been using for 50 plus years as a strength and conditioning tool should be looked at with respect and thrown into programming whenever possible.  Stay focused on being explosive through the middle portion of the swing.  This is where your hips are opening up.  The goal is to transfer as much hip power as possible to the bell so that you aren’t having to pull as much with your arms and shoulders.
