Snatch Skills it EMOM

Snatch:

  • 3 Position squat snatch (skill, speed)

Watch how fast she is and in the slow mo phase the positioning.(225 snatch, 297 c&j)

Then,

EMOM for 10 minutes:

  • 1 squat snatch
  • Build up by 5 or 10 lbs each minute
  • After the 5th snatch bring the weight down at least 10 lbs and go back up for 5 more minutes.

This is very similar to what we did last Thursday with the clean.  We saw several clean PR’s during and after the EMOM.  Today we are cutting the emom a little shorter to give you more time on the back end to make an attempt at a new 1 rep snatch.  If you are new to Olympic lifting we will be keeping it light and working on positions.  Also, the evening classes will have gymnastic Coach Poole with them working on pistol progressions and some other gymnastics skills.  See you there!
