Our new overhead movement is push press.  Build up to a 5 rep max.  Remember that when performing a push press, once your knees lock on the upward drive you cannot re-bend them or the rep doesn’t count.  As in the jerk, it is critical to stay vertical and drive the bar off of your shoulders.

We have 3 new sleds to pull around.  After the presses go outside and get to know them.  It will be fun!

Workout of the Day 6/5/13:

Push Press 5-5-5-5-5

Then,

  • 25 Meter Sled Push/Pull
  • As many rounds as time will permit.  Rest in between.
