It is time to get back into some Olympic lifting work.  We will warm up to 70% of your 1 rep max and then perform one rep of that weight for 5 sets.  We will really be emphasizing getting into proper position and executing each lift correctly.  If you are new to the lifts, we will keep the weight light and teach you proper positioning.  Either way, this is going to be a good training day!  After you snatch we will be spending some time working on handstand push ups and or skill transfer movements for the hspu along with some slam ball action.

Workout of the Day (WOD) 1/15/14:

Snatch 70% x 1 x 5 sets

Then,

3 Rounds not for time:

  • Max handstand push ups
  • 15 Slam Balls (as heavy as possible)
