Split Jerk: 1-1-1-1-1-1-1

Today we will start out with some split jerks from the rack.  You will build up to a 1 rep max split jerk.  The most important thing is getting your technique down.  If are new to this movement we will be sticking with light weight and drilling technique.  Afterwards, we steal a page from the CrossFit Open in 2012.  7 minutes of burpees was Open wod 12.1.  12.1 was done with each athlete doing a burpee and jumping 6″ above their reach.  We are going to make this bar facing to keep it simple.  Either way you are jumping 6″.  Have fun!
