Pull, Balance and Snatch!

Today we will be working on getting better at the Olympic snatch. This will mostly be about technique work. The pulls and snatch balance will stay light and are warm-ups to you working up to 85% of your 1 rep max. The pulls reinforce the first and second pulling positions and good hip extension while the snatch balance teaches us to quickly get under and receive the bar. When you get to the full snatch make sure to set up the same every time and focus on perfecting each lift.
Workout of the Day 4/26/13:
- Snatch Pulls 3-3-3
- Snatch Balance 3-3-3
- Work up to 85% of your 1 rep max
Then in 5 minutes complete:
- 30 Toes to Bar
- Max rep kettlebell swings (53,35)
