Many of you have noted that this has been a rough week of wods.  The last 4 days we have exclusively done metcons of differing time domains.  This is not sustainable in a effective strength and conditioning program. Constant metcons or cardio will break you down as will constant strength training.  This was a short week and a good one to get in some benchmarks because we are between strength programs.  I hope that everyone has seen that CrossFit is more than just killer wods.  It is a strength and conditioning program.  Without both elements you will not reap the benefits.  I program the weeks/months/years to get equal amounts of both as well as rest.  This why skipping strength days and only coming to metcon days will hurt your fitness over time.  Or vice versa. “Constantly varied” can mean several things.  SEEK OUT YOUR WEAKNESSES AND ATTACK THEM!
