Squat Clean(20 minutes)
- Build up to a 1 rep max
Then,
EMOM for 7 minutes:
- 3 Squat cleans at 70% of today’s max
This has already been an awesome week of wods. Heavy lifting on Monday with a short burner and then some running, overhead squats and kettlebells yesterday. Today we continue our practice of the Olympic lifts. Mainly focusing on the squat clean. Last week we worked on getting under the bar in a squat snatch. Today we will do the same with the clean. You have to get comfortable pulling yourself under the bar and catching it low in a front squat. Start out light and build confidence. Once you have that, start building up and practicing heavier loads.
