Strength:
3 Position clean + 1 jerk, 20 minutes to find a max for the day
- clean from the floor
- above the knee
- high hang
- Then perform 1 jerk
Skill:
- Push-ups, dips, hand stand push-ups
On Wednesday’s we will be working our Olympic lifting skills. It will mostly be barbell complexes and position drills for the snatch and clean and jerk. Even though it says build up to a max for the day, you don’t have to slap the weight on and go for broke. Stay focused on improving your form and the weight will come. There is nothing wrong with keeping it light on these days and perfecting the movements. Afterwards we will work on our monthly gym challenge skills with a short clinic on each movement and an opportunity to get some numbers into your challenge block.
