Vets Day 13

Happy Veterans Day!  Thank you to all of our military personnel for your sacrifices for our freedom.  There are several veterans at CFBC, make sure to thank them today.

We are working our way through another cycle of overhead squats.  Today we will go back to sets of 3 @90% of your 1 rep max.  Remember that if this is too heavy at 90% drop down in weight or percentage.  We want you to be able to get 5 solid sets of 3.  Each one should be a battle so don’t lighten your load too much.  After the squats we will revisit the Foundations Baseline Test.  For those of you that have gone through our Foundations program you will have a chance to see how much you have improved since that scary first day of CrossFit.  We have some awesome wods coming up this week.  Make sure to get here and crush it!

Workout of the Day (Wod) 11/11/13:

Overhead Squat 3-3-3-3-3 @90% 1 rep max

Then,

Foundations Baseline Test:

  • 1 minute of max squats
  • 1 minute of max push-ups
  • 1 minute of max sit-ups
  • Run 400 meters for time

Rest 1 minute in between movements.
