Run and Barbell Time

The first 800 should be blazing fast!

The first 800 m should be blazing fast!

Today’s workout has several parts to it.  It will be scored by total time but we will also record an 800 meter run time at the beginning.  There are specific rest and time components that are posted below.  Many of you will read the explanation and say “WTF!”.  Don’t worry it is not so complicated and we will make sure everyone understands before we get going.

Workout of the Day 6/18/13:

For time:

  • 800 Meter Run Time Trial

Upon completion note your time, round up to the next minute and rest 3 minutes before beginning:

  • 20 Thrusters (95,65)
  • 20 Sumo Deadlift High Pulls
  • 20 Push Jerks
  • 20 Overhead Squats
  • 20 Front Squats

Every minute on the minute starting with the first minute until completion of all reps perform 4 burpees.   After the 20th front squat, run 800 meters.  There is a 10 minute time cap on the 20 rep barbell portion.  Ex: If you start at 7 minutes you have until 17 minutes to complete all of the reps.  At the 10 minute mark cap immediately run 800 meters.

*Post 800 meter time trial and total time to comments.
