Push press is on tap for today.  Its time to show off your strength.  We have been working hard through this cycle to get to this day.  As we have preached in the past,  stay focused on your set up and technique.  Staying vertical through your dip and drive is critical.  The more power you get from the drive the easier your press will be.  After that we will be doing a fun little interval workout.  You will be alternating between farmer’s carries and sprints.  40 seconds of work, 20 seconds of rest.  Turn every 50′(the length of the mats).  During the sprints you will have to touch the mats at each turn around.

Workout of the Day (WOD) 11/20/13:

Push Press 1-1-1-1-1

Then,

10 Cycles: 40 seconds of work, 20 seconds of rest.  Alternating each minute between:

  • 50′ Farmer Carry *as heavy as possible(AHAP)
  • 50′ Sprint

The first cycle you will do 40 seconds of 50′ farmer carries.  Rest 20 seconds.  Then, the next cycle starts 40 seconds of 50′ sprints.  Continue alternating this for 10 total cycles.
