A new week begins today.  If you have been waiting on Monday to get to the gym, it is here.  Make CrossFit  a part of your day every day and you will see improvements in your fitness.  Increase your work capacity(fitness) this week!

Today we will go for a 1 rep max overhead squat.  Make sure to first set yourself up for any squat…feet shoulder width, weight in the heals, chest up, move your hips back first.  The bar is now overhead so you will have to balance as you squat.   Actively pull the bar back as you go down into the squat and then stand up for a new personal record!

Workout of the Day 4/45/13:

Overhead Squat 1-1-1-1-1

Then,

3 Rounds:

  • 15 Squat snatches (95,65)
  • 15 Box jumps (24,20)
