  • Work up to a max in 7 minutes

Snatch Balance

  • Work up to a max or keep it light and get comfortable.  Do not use a dip and drive until you fail.

We will be focusing on skill transfer movements for the snatch today.  Many of us have trouble pulling under and receiving the bar in a full squat.  The snatch balance is a great way to build confidence with receiving the weight/bar in an overhead squat position.  So many times we see athletes attempting a snatch and they pull the bar with excellent technique from the ground but just can’t commit to getting under it.  We have all been there:)!  Today lets work on getting that confidence up.  If there is time afterwards we will work on skills.
