Many of you are probably looking at today’s wod and saying…”Just running? No barbells, pullups, kettlebells or squats?”  Yes, that is correct.  Today will be only running and to an extent sprinting.  Constantly varied programming is the bread and butter of CrossFit.  This can mean lots of things.  The most important is that no one modality is left out of a well designed program.  Arguably the most widely varied and well designed program in the CrossFit world is crossfit.com programming.  They routinely have 5ks, 10ks and sprints as the workout of the day. Sure, we do run a lot at CFBC, but generally it is mixed with other movements.  On these days we tend to “game” the runs in these wods and not truly focus on running more efficiently or faster.  Today you can focus on each running piece without any distractions.  Take this opportunity to improve your running and overall fitness.
