15-12-9-6-3 reps for time:

  • Dumbbell hang clean and jerks (55,35)(35,25)(25,20)
  • Weighted pull-ups w/dumbbell

This one is going to have some great challenges. We begin with a dumbbell movement. Which we know from the Open can be difficult to manage. Each rep will come from the hang position and finish overhead. Once we complete our round of those you will drop one dumbbell and use the other one as weight for your pull-ups. If this too much weight for you, back it down or work on strict pull-ups or continuous kipping pull-ups. Generally, just challenge yourself to a harder version of the pull-ups you normally do.
