Press:
- Build to a 1 rep max
Then,
4 Rounds for time:
- 50′ Walking Lunge
- 200 Meter Run
- 10 Toes to Bar (knee raises)(abmat)
We are almost to the end of our 1 rep max attempts. With the press, it is even more important to have a plan of attack. These will drop off quickly due to the small muscle groups used and the lack of ability to use the hips. Look up your old max, plan an attack that warms you up sufficiently but doesn’t put a lot of reps on you. Remember, there is no sense in going for your old number. Either go over it our under it. You already know that you can do that weight so don’t attempt it. Now go forth and crush it!
