Overhead Squat:

  • Build up to a heavy 1 rep, or work on overhead squat positioning and execution

Then,

In 5 minutes complete:

  • 750 Meter Row
  • Max Bench Press Reps in remainder of time (135,95)(95,65)(75,45)(55,35)

We are working our way through this week and now it is time to spend some quality time getting better at overhead squats or going for a new 1 rep.  That’s right!  Today is your opportunity to improve the overhead squat.  We all have trouble with this movement.  You will never get better at something unless you constantly work it.  Not only working the movement, but working the limiting factors to what is causing you issues with that movement.  There are athletes that work hard to get better by constantly mobilizing and practicing and those that will throw in the towel and skip these days.  Make a new vow today to conquer the overhead squat or whatever movement is holding you back from greatness.  Today be a conqueror of weakness and not a towel thrower!  …and then row with some bench pressing 😉
