Max for the Day
Wednesday, February 26, 2014:
Snatch
- Work up to a max snatch for the day
- Then do 3 sets of 1 at 85% of that max
Clean and Jerk
- Work up to a max clean and jerk for the day
- Then do 3 sets of 1 at 85% of that max
Today we will spend the whole class time focusing on the snatch and clean and jerk. First you will build up to a snatch max for the day. Once you establish that we will take it down to 85% of that max and perform 3 sets of 1. We will follow this same schedule for the clean and jerk. Keep in mind that this may or may not equal or exceed your pr. We have done a lot of lifting already this week which will effect your performance. Don’t get frustrated, just focus on lifting as much as possible with good technique for today. Have fun!
