Going Up!

The AMRAP has become synonymous with CrossFit.  You mention that acronym and people either say “What?” or, “Oh you do CrossFit.”  The last couple of years the CrossFit Open has been made up exclusively of these type wods.  Today we will get some good practice at them.   We often see athletes just cruising through these because there is not a set amount of work to complete.  Remember, it is As Many Rounds/Reps as POSSIBLE.   We have 3 separate ones with 2 minutes of rest between them.  They are only 5 minutes long so go hard during each one.   Don’t get to the scoring phase and wish that you had done one more rep.  Do that rep during the wod!  The last AMRAP is a combination of the first two.  We will take the combined reps for all 3 as your score.

Workout of the Day 9/17/13:

5 Minute AMRAP:

  • 10 Thrusters (135,95)
  • 50 Double Unders

Rest 2 minutes

5 Minute AMRAP:

  • 15 Kettlebell Swings (53,35)
  • 30 Burpees

Rest 2 minutes

5 Minute AMRAP:

  • 10 Thrusters (135,95)
  • 50 Double Unders
  • 15 Kettlebell Swings (53,35)
  • 30 Burpees
