Once again we are changing up our strength cycle.  Our bodies our very adaptive which means we need to be constantly changing the stimulus in order for us to improve.  This is CrossFit.  Constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements.  This is also why you don’t get bored with our workouts and you all are becoming brutally strong.  During this new strength phase, we will spend 4 weeks on each movement.  The first week will be 5×3 @85%, week 2 -5×5 @80%, week 3 -5×3 @90%, week 4 -build up to a new 1 rep max.  If you have questions talk with a coach.  We love to talk CrossFit!

Workout of the Day(WOD) 9/3/13:

Back Squat

  • 3-3-3-3-3 @ 85% 1 rep max

Then,

7 Minute AMRAP:

  • 30 Toes to Bar
  • 20 Kettlebell Swings (53,35)
  • 15 Handstand Push-ups
  • 10 Walking Lunges
  • 5 Chest to bar pull-ups

*Post back squat weights and AMRAP times to comments.  Constantly varied.
