Congratulations to Jason and Rachel on the birth of their son!

The day has come to get a new snatch max.  Just like the clean and jerk, we have spent an extensive amount of time practicing technique and drilling the positions for this day.  The improvement in both Olympic lifts has been very evident.  We are looking to continue with some sort of Olympic based strength work in the coming months mixed with some powerlifting.   We will have plenty of time to work up to your new max today.  With the time left, pick a skill/skills and practice, practice, practice.  You have seen the results of the extra Olympic work.  If you dedicate time to a skill and stay consistent you will improve.
