Skill: Gymnastics Ring Practice

Then,

3 Position Squat Snatch:

  • Build up to 70% 1 rep max
    Reach up on the bar and get low!

    Reach up on the bar and get low!

Then,

15 Minute EMOM:

  • Minutes 1-5, 1 Squat Snatch 70% 1 rm
  • Minutes 6-10, 1 Squat Snatch 75% 1 rm
  • Minutes 10-15, 1 Squat Snatch 80% 1 rm

We will spend the first portion of class time reviewing and practicing our ring drills.  Everyone seems to be getting more comfortable on the rings.  Keep it up!  After the ring work we will do some snatch work.  Starting with a 3 position snatch, build up to 70% of your 1 rep max.  From there we will go into an EMOM with the weight that you have built up to on the bar.  Every 5 minutes the weight will go up by 5%.
