Monday Squatting and AMRAPing

Thank you to all of you who have already signed up to volunteer at the Throwdown in the Triangle in September.  We still need a few more volunteers, so if you are free Saturday(9/7) or Sunday(9/8) we would love to have you.  This is a great opportunity for us to showcase CFBC, our awesome athletes and community.   If you can volunteer some time let Kirk or Josh know.

We are down to 3 reps on our overhead squats today.  Shoulder and hip flexibility or lack thereof gives many athletes problems with the overhead squat.  Spend some extra time before class mobilizing shoulders and hips.  As always, we will have mobility built into the class, but extra work never hurts!

Workout of the Day (WOD) 8/12/13:

Overhead Squat 3-3-3-3-3 @90% 1 rep max

20 reps @50% 1 rm plus 5 lbs

Then,

7 Minute AMRAP:

  • 100 Double Unders
  • 50 Pushups
