Strength:

  • 3 position snatch (1x floor, 1x mid thigh, 1x high hang): Work up to a max for the day in 10 sets.

Skill:

  • Jump rope-Singles, doubles, triples..etc

Wednesday’s are great days to get some extra Olympic lifting work in and work on skills while not trashing our bodies.  Rest days are needed, but often times you can get away with active rest days.  You don’t always have to go as heavy as possible on the lifts.  If you feel like you need more of a break, keep the weights light and focus solely on absolutely perfecting your technique.  Last week, most of us were knocked out by the triple under.  Today is a good day to work on those.  Depending on where you are at, perfecting your single skips might be your plan of action.  Whichever route you choose, know that you will be better off for making it in the box today!
