Functional Movement

A couple of admin updates…..We got the Carolina Hurricanes Home Run Patio locked on for Sunday, May 19th. YAY!! The tickets will be $25. We must have our numbers in by next monday, so get on the sign up sheet posted in the gym! Also remember we have the Run for our Hero 5k coming up this weekend. Wether you volunteered or are running we will keep you updated this week on any new info.

The deadlift is one of the most functional movements we do in CrossFit. You probably deadlift many times in one day without even knowing it. Picking up your kids to play, picking up a backpack to head to school, picking up the pen you dropped off your desk. They are all deadlifts! We train our bodies for the unknown and the unknowable that way we can safely and effectively deal with the many situations life throws our way. We want to train you to keep your chest up and back flat wether your picking up a moving box or picking up a buddy on the battlefield. So get in here and get functional!
