Clean and Jerk and Climb the Ladder

Monday, February 24, 2014:

Every 3 minutes for 15 minutes perform:

  • 2 Squat Cleans + 1 Jerk
  • Build weight each set until you reach a max
  • Hands must stay on the bar for both squat cleans

Then,

5 minute AMRAP Ladder:

  • 1 Bar facing burpee
  • 1 Thruster (95,65)(75,45)(55,35)
  • 2 Bar facing burpees
  • 2 Thrusters
  • 3 Bar facing burpees
  • 3 Thrusters

…continue up the ladder, by 1,  until 5 minutes expires.

Welcome to a new week!  Today’s strength focus is based off of the clean and jerk.  We will do a barbell complex every 3 minutes for 15 minutes.  Two squat cleans + 1 jerk.  You will add weight each set until you reach a max weight.  After that, we will get on some burpees and thrusters!
